Anne
Felts has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for more than 15 years. She has specialized in the treatment and rehabilitation
of Spinal injuries and Industrial Medicine, as well as Wellness Program Development and continuing to perform traditional
Athletic Training/Sports Medicine Services.
Anne is
a Member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the Georgia Athletic Trainers Association (GATA). She is
both licensed nationally by the NATA as well as by the State of Georgia as an Athletic Trainer. She graduated from Berry College in 1990 and completed her Master of Science in Sports Medicine at Georgia State University in 1996. She
then worked the 1996 Olympic Games & Paralympic Games in Atlanta. Since then she has
worked several athletic events and completed a two-week volunteer experience at the United States Olympic Training Center
in Colorado Springs.
Anne
has a specialized interest in the treatment of spinal injuries and their rehabilitation. This specialization led her into
the Industrial Medicine realm and has grown to include Functional Capacity Examiner as an additional Certification. She has
performed numerous FCE's, Pre-Work screens and job site analysis and work station evaluations, in accordance with ADA regulations.
In
addition to Sports Medicine & Industrial Medicine, Anne has designed Wellness Programs for multiple municipalities and
public service departments, as well as providing Wellness
Services to several smaller companies. She has a special focus on Firefighter Wellness Programs bringing departments in compliance
with NFPA recommended guidelines for fitness.
